Carmen Litzler, PA-C, is one of the most highly trained and experienced pediatric practitioners in Southwest Florida, serving families in Fort Myers, Estero, Bonita Springs, Labelle, and Naples. She has over 10 years of experience working in pediatric primary care and pediatric emergency rooms.

Born and raised in Michigan, Carmen received her first undergraduate degree in business management from Western Michigan University in 2007. Following graduation, Carmen relocated to Southwest Florida, where she attended Hodges University and earned a second undergraduate degree in health sciences.

In 2011, Carmen graduated from Nova Southeastern University’s physician assistant program, receiving her master of medical science degree. She then focused her career on pediatrics, working in pediatric primary care in Port Charlotte, Florida. In 2016, Carmen transitioned to pediatric emergency medicine at Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida.

Throughout her career, Carmen enjoyed interacting with Physician Assistant students, which sparked her love for teaching. She began instructing students at Nova Southeastern University in the summer of 2020, which led to a full-time faculty position as clinical director.

Recently, Carmen established her own concierge pediatric practice in Fort Myers. Her mission is to bring back a more personal and family-oriented approach to medical care by providing 24-hour access and blending holistic health with modern medicine.

When Carmen is not working, she enjoys spending time with her son and family on her farm. In her extended time off, she enjoys being with her family in Michigan and Taiwan.
